REGISTRATION CLOSED

The Edmonds Toy Shop is a community outreach providing gifts to customers of the Edmonds Food Bank for children, ages infant through high school (birthdate: 9/01/2005 or after).

Our program is primarily volunteer-run, with the support of Edmonds Food Bank and Edmonds United Methodist staff. It is funded by community donations and grants.

Our goal for 2023 is to give younger children toys or gifts (under 10) and older children gift cards (ages 10-17).

To receive gifts, households must be verified with the food bank between July 1, 2023 to November 1, 2023*.  See below for more information.

October food orders:

All households who select “YES” to receive information about Toy Shop, and who have qualifying children, will receive an email invitation to sign-up.

INVITES are scheduled to go out on or about NOVEMBER 3rd (via email).

Starting Monday, November 6th: If you have not received an invite, please contact us toyshop@edmondsfoodbank.org .

REGISTRATION CLOSED:  NOVEMBER 15

GIFTS  DISTRIBUTED:  BY SATURDAY, DECEMBER 9

*Verified customers of the Edmonds Food Bank meet ALL of the following requirements:

AND,

If your household does not meet ANY of the 3 requirements:

We truly wish we could gift every child in need. Unfortunately, due to the continued rise of need in our area, we cannot provide invites to non-customers or new out-of-area households at this time. We can, however, place your name on our Toy Shop waitlist.

WAITLIST CUSTOMERS: If “shopping” times open up or additional gifts are available, we will reach out on or before December 1.

In the mean time, we encourage you to explore other resources. Check back here for information or see our 2022 list for ideas. (This link will be updated as information becomes available.)

As of November 1, 2023, our Edmonds Food Bank is currently serving 700 to 1000 households each week. This is more than double the number of families we were serving five years ago! Our of those verified households, 670+ have children who are pre-qualified and eligible for our Toy Shop event. So, we except to serve 1200 to 1500 local children this year!

Thank you for your understanding and continued support!
